Formerly Jackie B Design, the company now enters a new era with a change of name and owner. Island Point Interiors is now operated by Janet Harvey, who is focussed on maintaining a quality local outfit, whilst placing her own unique stamp on the business.
Janet has been involved in the interior decorating and design industry since 1978, working extensively with fabric and wallpaper, in design, decorating, manufacture, wholesale and retail. A long time resident of Port Douglas, she has an understanding of the tropical lifestyle, it’s challenges and it’s joys.
Her passion for fabric and colour has extended to all aspects of interior decorating, with a classically eclectic personal style. She is quick to interpret a client’s own personal style and can adapt to all genres of decorating. Whether your taste is classic or contemporary; earthy or coastal; simple or ornate – Janet understands the importance of reflecting your own personality within your home.
Janet is supported by a team of talented and passionate craftsmen, Northern locals who can produce customised furniture, soft furnishings and cabinet work to suit her clients needs.
